When our team of gas engineers visit your home to fit your appliance, we’ll ensure that your old appliance is safely disconnected by turning off the gas supply. This means we can avoid gas leaks during the installation process. We’ll also remove it to make way for the new cooker or hob.

Next, we’ll connect the appliance to the gas supply and test it to ensure everything is working correctly before we switch the supply back on. We’ll also ensure that your gas cooker is installed with a safety chain to deliver a limited range of movement. This means that if the cooker is freestanding and it’s moved (i.e. for cleaning) the gas pipe cannot be dislodged or come away from the stove.
